04 / CURRENT WORK
Our current work includes a vertical lakehouse addition in Muskegon and a coordinated Lake Michigan bluff-stabilization project. We are also shaping two proposed residential developments for the next stage of the company.
A second-story expansion for an existing four-unit lakehouse property, maintained within the established footprint. The work coordinates the site plan, finish selections, framing, engineering, permits, exterior changes, decks and final occupancy.
A lake-bluff stabilization concept coordinating earthwork, deep structural posts, an approximately 80-foot retaining system, drainage, armor stone, railing, stairs and revegetation while preserving the existing flat beach.

Early development concepts built around practical land use, coordinated infrastructure and a simpler path from homesite to finished home.
A projected phased community approximately two hours north of Grand Rapids, combining manufactured-home areas, RV circulation, a managed arrival point, shared green space and coordinated utility planning. The concept separates longer-term residential areas from short-stay and seasonal RV activity while allowing the property to grow in practical stages.
A projected 30-home turnkey neighborhood in West Michigan using approximately 1/2-acre homesites, coordinated home plans and curated finish choices. The concept gives each buyer meaningful control over the lot, layout and appearance while preserving a calm, cohesive streetscape and a streamlined builder-managed delivery process.
Projected images and site plans are early development studies. They are not surveys, civil plans, zoning approvals, permit drawings or final construction documents.

You should not have to manage six separate conversations to move one project forward. My Home Builder remains your primary point of coordination and assembles the builders, engineers, specialty contractors, trades and suppliers the work requires.

Site conditions, records, access, utilities, budget direction and required specialists are organized early.
Layouts, materials, finish decisions, engineering and pricing are brought into one buildable scope.
We coordinate applications, scheduling, trades, materials, inspections and written changes as the work moves.
Final inspections, cleanup, the reasonable punch list and project records bring the work to a clean finish.

No. We work on new homes and developments, additions and renovations, and difficult-site residential projects that require structural, earthwork or specialty coordination.
Yes—during the selection phase. We preserve meaningful choice while narrowing options to materials that fit the plan, budget, availability and overall design direction. Once selections are approved, we lock the scope and take the daily construction coordination off your plate.
We coordinate the preconstruction work needed for the project, which may include site information, plans, finish selections, framing coordination, engineering, permit applications and required testing.
Depending on the scope, My Home Builder may perform authorized work directly or coordinate appropriately licensed and insured builders, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and specialty trades.
We are based in Muskegon and focus on Muskegon County and surrounding West Michigan communities.
